Embodied Kinesiology

1 post

Kinesiology is the study of human movement. Simply put, muscles move bones at joints. Our movement is affected by our relationship to gravity and also to any resistance to the desired movement.

I offer a 30-hour correspondence course Embodied Kinesiology, which participants do at home. Study includes some muscle and bone palpation. Participants also perform specific movements of the body and name the muscles and their roles. This exercise helps us to further understand how the muscles, bones and joints relate to cause effective movement. The course includes written material, video material and one-on-one mentoring either face-to-face, by phone or Skype video chat.
